Who can join the EGA?

Full membership is only open to Not For Profit organisations which are under the control of patient representatives from countries that are either (a) original founder members of the European Gaucher Alliance (United Kingdom, Italy ,The Netherlands, Israel, & France) or (b) from any other country in Europe.

Associate membership is only open to Not For Profit organisations which are under the control of patient representatives from countries that do not fulfil the criteria to be a Full Member as referred to above.

Full Members are entitled to vote at meetings and to propose membership of the council.  Associate Members are not entitled to vote at meetings or propose candidates for the council and will only have observer status at such meetings.

Any organisation which wishes to become a Member or Associate Member will need to complete an application for membership  Click here for an applciation form

Each application for membership will be considered by the Council, which will decide upon the admission or rejection of the applicant. The Council is not be obliged to inform a rejected applicant of the reason for its rejection.
